It has been more than a month since I have started playing Apollo Justice. Quite long, eh? XD Whatever, as long as I finished the game. o(〃^▽^〃)o

Story: Nah, I won’t tell you about this one. It’s not as if this is a new game anyway. (・ω・)/

Honestly, I didn’t like AJ when I started the game. The main reason was the new protagonist named Apollo Justice. I did not dislike him because he is a horrid main character; it was just me being biased. You see, I began playing the first case right after the final moments in Trials & Tribulations which is my favorite Ace Attorney game, may I add. So I was still having the “T&T hangover” lol.

My initial impression was it was a trying hard game, not even worthy to be the next Ace Attorney. The “air” throughout the game was heavy and serious. As I play the game, I have realized that it was not really that bad; it was actually a good one. However, it’s not as good as the previous Ace Attorney’s. AJ may have intricate cases and a few mysteries but it felt rather flat as I finished it. It lacked the keeping-you-on-the-edge-of-your-seat feel.

As for the characters, I love them. Don’t get me wrong, my love for the previous characters is still FARRR greater than for the new ones lol. Apollo is serious and stiff, very much unlike Nick, but hey, he is more talented and did not rely on others that much. Apollo’s half-sister, Trucy, is soo cute when she was small and likable than Maya lol. One of the reasons (perhaps, the very reason (≧▽≦)) why I came to love AJ is because of the prosecutor, Klavier Gavin (though I also love his Japanese name Kyouya Garyuu (●´ω`●)ゞ). Still, the best prosecutor for me is Miles and Godot for the second place but Klavier is not as extreme as the previous prosecutors. He is not obsessed to have a perfect record (as long as it does not concern the Gavinners performance); justice is more important to him. And Ema, the other half of the KlavierxEma pairing lol, the grumpy detective. I miss Gumshoe‘s antics but I have an interest in forensic science so there’s no other character addicted to it than Ema. (≡^∇^≡)

Having said that, I think I’ll be playing this one again after I finished playing Miles Investigations 1 and re-playing the very first Ace Attorney. Yes, an Ace Attorney marathon! lol

      1. I’ve always loved Ema ever since she appeared on that case with Lana as the defendant. And THAT Lana Skye almost unseated Mia Fey over from my Phoenix Wright character bias throne. LOL. However, my loyalty to Mia proved to be more powerful than Lana’s wily charms. XD

I have finally figured out how to work that demented blowing the powder thingy on an emulator so now…I can finally play Apollo! MWARHARHARHARHAR!
