You meet Villager and he tells you that there is a god in the lake who tells him that his wish will be granted if he prays constantly. Just as he wishes, he meets you again. But it turns out, that he is not the only one who prays for that in the lake. Slime, Maou, and Dark Knight do so too. For you to return to your world, you have to do one quest with them. The adventure with this party then starts!
The gameplay remains the same from the other games so there is no need for me to write about it here again. My thoughts remain the same anyway. 😀 Since I have discussed it before on my previous review, feel free to read this. There is just one thing that sort of bothers me. In the data page, when you save while in a guy’s route, you can see an avatar of the guy on the top right side. But as you can see here,
there is no avatar for the Dark Knight on saves 2 and 3. I don’t know if it’s just on my end or what. It is only trivial, but it still bugs me. ;;;
Characters
Adorable babies as ever~~ ◕ ◡ ◕
I like thinking that this party is divided into two: the ones who have a grudge to you and the ones who are excited to meet you. xD
It feels that this time, the characters are much gentle? Tame? lol They don’t jump at the heroine at any given chance. Or they have subtle way of harassing her www. Which makes them less perverts… I guess. XD
The only thing that makes me tad disappointed is that there is no onsen CG. There is an onsen scene but no CG. Ah well~ (▰︶︹︺▰)
Dark Knight
He used to be on the side of Maou but changed sides in the hopes of finding the soul of his sister.
Come to think of it, Dark Knight is so… normal. The average knight. Well, of course, other than being part of the dark side before. I mean, he is what you expect of a knight: serious, prim and proper, and respects women. lol Okay I’m overthinking things. XD
Maou
AAAHHHH Sugita~~
He is the last boss of the game and whom you defeated easily in your first playthrough. Thanks to that, he is pretty depressed about it.
AAAHHH I love Maou~! Not only because of Sugita’s awesome voice acting, but Maou is superb. Nakimushi Maou is cute~ 8D. /shot
He may be the Dark Lord, but he is kind and gentle towards the heroine. I expect him to be brusque and cold. Or anything that goes along with his darkness image. He is probably the most sensible character in the game (and I’m talking about the other games too).
I actually regret playing him second now… u.u
AND don’t forget to listen to his special voice (lol idk how to call that) in Kare no Heya part in Omake. It is hilarious!
Slime
The god gives him a human body answering his wish to let him meet you again.
In my recent reads, I mention that I liked him instantly due to his cuteness (I never knew what cuteness is like before Ryuu Bi. /sigh). But his constant clinging to you irks me midway in the game and even more in his route. It also strikes me that even if they are dating it seems that you are dating a shota guy.
Kudos to Takahashi Naozumi though. How did he voice Slime in the cutesy voice? You have to listen to his manly voice in Kare no Heya. The change in his voice surprises me. XD
Villager
Bb <3
Villager-kun’s wish is to meet you again.
Perhaps out of all the characters in the entire series, Villager is the most unfortunate. He is the most undervalued, unappreciated, and powerless character. But the twist… lol Piece of advice: play common end AFTER you finish all the ends unless you want to be spoiled ;D
Wrapping Up!
I like the ‘tame’-ness in Yami no Hanayome. Still, enjoyable and short. No onsen CG though which is sad.
All in all, I have a lot of fun in playing the entire Dot Kare series. Well done Rejet. Well done. ;D
That’s weird, Dark Knight avatar appears on my save files. owo Our thoughts and favourites are pretty much the same as you said heheh. But what caught my attention the most was “I never knew what cuteness is like before Ryuu Bi.” yay spread the Ryuu Bi loveee ♡｡ﾟ.(*♡´‿` 人´‿` ♡*)ﾟ♡ °・

I tried saving twice (hence save 3) but his avatar doesn’t appear. lol
When I start playing this, I am immediately taken in by Slime’s cuteness. But after playing Jyuuza, Slime pales in comparison to Ryuu Bi. XD Ryuu Bi loveeee~~ <3 <3 <3

I played in this order: Kei, Sakyou, Saneaki, Enishi, Suzukake, Tsuzuramaru which I think is a good route order 😀

It is translated as His Room and in this game it contains the guys thoughts about you among many other things. 🙂
