Hi! I’m trying out new things on this blog. Gacha Gaming Diaries or GGD posts are posts about gacha games that I’m playing (because gosh am I playing a lot of them).

One of those gacha games is Honkai: Star Rail which I’ve started half a year ago. I’ve finally caught up with the main story and now it’s Amphoreus’s time! It’s such a shame that Sunday isn’t coming with Dan Heng and MC to explore the new planet. I guess he’s got too much spotlight in the Penacony arc (not that he’s taking the backseat completely in this one). After everything that happened and knowing that he’s on a “borrowed” freedom, I’m actually invested in his character growth. I want to see his adventures going forward.

Meanwhile, Amphoreus starts with a bang and too much fighting. There’s just so much going on right off the bat. I’m not complaining since I like the whole Greek Myth vibe. Plus, should I really be complaining when we’re introduced to all the hotties — Mydei, Phainon, and Aglaea?

Also in this part, a new path is opened, Remembrance (which I find helpful with my Mydei team). MC gets to see a past with the Stellaron Hunters and gets a pet, Mem.

It’s a really long quest — 10 freaking hours. Despite the length, the story has good pacing. The best part is the Kremnos, Cleanse Thy Rusted Blood Part II chapter. I won’t say too much in case you haven’t finish the 1st act of Amphoreus, but that’s a clever storytelling, really clever.

For those who have finished it (or even the latest act), what are your thoughts? Are you enjoying this planet so far?
