Most of the time, I just grab whatever’s free and has good art in Rakuten Kobo’s site. I don’t usually bother reading what it is going about since there’s nothing to lose, I’ve got manga while paying nothing. If I don’t like it, it’s easy to drop and pick another. ┐(‘～`；)┌
Of course, Miyatake Miracle is one of those books. I haven’t read shoujo in a while plus there’s a cute guy on the cover so why not (๑¯◡¯๑). The first chapter is the only free one, but I liked what I read. I don’t mind paying for the rest of the books.
The main girl, Towako is a big brocon. But this is also a huge factor for feeding her inferiority complex towards her brother. Enter Miyatake. He’s the friend of Towa’s brother who, for some unknown reason, attaches himself to Towa. Towa is usually dragged around by his pace.
While it’s pretty obvious that I’ll like this for Miyatake (blonde + that sawayaka personality), I love Towa. She is a bit tsun and has lots of uncertainties. My younger self could probably relate to her. Her relationship with her brother is superb (someone’s silently hoping for an incest huehue). Plus, the dynamics between her and Miyatake are great. I have high hopes for their romance. I’m interested to see what will happen next!
