With the airing of the Nil Admirari no Tenbin Teito Genwaku Kitan’s (god that’s such a mouthful www) anime, I figured why not play the game knowing that the anime won’t have the best art and have a leaner version of the story. I started playing but I didn’t read the synopsis. So I take one scene after another, eager to find out what will happen next. ヾ(｡･ω･)ｼ
I’ve only finished the common route and I’m totally shipping Tsugumi x Hayato! (๑♡⌓♡๑) The boy’s crushing so hard on her. It is so obvious and so cute. I love Kaji Yuki’s voice here as well. Different from the Kaji characters that I encountered before.
More than the main story, which is about finding cursed books, I’m more interested to see how Tsugumi grows as I progress through the game. She doesn’t seem like my usual fave heroine – cool and kickass, but her earnestness and willingness to learn and adapt fascinates me. Also, I love how she’s hard working on realizing her dream despite her rich kid upbringing. I would love to see how she would act and react on things life throws at her.
The common route introduces the other characters. Just enough to get to know them but not so much so as to reveal a lot. But enough to interest me. I asked on Twitter for a recommend order and Yssa suggested Shizuru -> Hisui -> Shougo -> Akira -> Rui -> Hayato. I’m more than happy to do that since the last three are my current faves. Though there’s no helping that Rui and Hayato are locked routes so I have no choice but to leave them last. ¯_༼ ಥ ‿ ಥ ༽_/¯
From L-R:
Secret Character – I don’t know and I don’t want to know yet who this character is. Though I’ll welcome if it turns out to be Nabari, Kuina, or even better Mashiko www.
Rui – Rui reminds me of another character but I can’t pinpoint which one. Well, there is still a lot I don’t know about this guy other than randomly bumping into Tsugumi. But, I might be wrong with this (I do hope I’m right haha), he seems to have a crush on Tsugumi?
Shizuru – smooth-talker and a womanizer. I want to know more about why he ended up with the Fukurou guys. I thought he’s like, Fukurou member by day, novelist by night. That doesn’t seem to be the case though.
Shougo – If I’m going to follow my least interested in most interested order, I’d play Shougo’s route first. This guy is such an ass. He needs to step-down from his high-horse sometimes.
Hisui – other than his curious eyes, he is just so…angelic. He sees the positive side of things that gives a new spin on different topics.
Akira – Akira’s like the Ice Queen – cold and detached. But there are rare moments in which he smiles briefly.
Hayato – aaah my fave boy at the moment. I thought for sure that he would be the high-and-mighty alpha-male when I saw the game cover. But once the game starts, he is just a sweetheart who has a not-so-subtle crush on Tsugumi. It will be going to be looong road before I get to his route.
I hope this game will turn out good, if not decent. As much as possible, I want to like this. And I want to like this until the end.
