Been reading a lot of on-going series and I’m sorta regretting doing it because now I’m itching to read the next chapters lol.
I’ve read at least the first 5 or so chapters of these series, except Painter of the Night which I read until chapter 10. There are free chapters available in the links provided below that you can check out in case you want to try them out for yourself.
Just to be clear, these are not reviews but more of impressions of the series.
“It’s Ye-eun’s 32nd birthday, but she’s not feeling too great. After her lingerie line went out of business, she’s been forced to move back to her hometown, a place she thought she’d left for good. Luckily, her best friend knows just the thing to cheer her up: a big, shiny, limited edition dildo. Ye-eun “breaks it in” that night, but wakes up the next morning sans dildo. All she’s left with are fragments of a hot night of S&M and the muffled moans of a stranger… Who could the mystery man be?”
I know I’ve created my TBR List above so as not to be tempted to pick-up another series, skim through it then add it to my never-ending backlog. But that’s exactly what happened with S Flower. Curious about the cover, I skimmed through it until, like, 15 chapters later.
Since I haven’t really “read” this series, this post only contains my impressions of the story.
Childhood friends Ginu and Yubin live in separate apartments in separate buildings right next to each other – so close, in fact, they can talk to each other and see into each other’s apartments through their windows. But Yubin’s long-held secret is revealed one day when Ginu sees him doing something naughty through the window…
I quit my job, became a voice actor, and drastically changed my looks — all to catch the attention of dreamy Jaehyun from work. But he doesn’t know I’m me! What he does know is that I dub his favorite animation, and adores the way I sound. But now he’s my next door neighbor too?! A perfect chance for neighborly love!
Picture this, the voice actor of your 2D husbando lives next door. What’s more, he is head-over-heels in love with you! Heaven, right?
That must have been what Jaehyun feels when he meets his ideal guy, Junseok. He’s got the face, the body, and the voice. But he seems to be hiding something from his past…
Sungjoon’s not doing great, but life is looking up. His job at the convenience store pays enough for him to afford his own place. A tiny, smelly, and laughably cheap place, but he loves it. He loves it right up until he walks home and finds it on fire. Unfortunately, things get worse as he realizes he doesn’t know anyone in the city who can help. Wait, no… that’s not right. Actually, he does know Lee Hyo-in. A rich kid from his university who is, coincidentally, looking for a roommate. Well, not a roommate. More of a… dog.
